Just came across a website for Pune Traffic and Trasportation Forum. Seems to be a good collection of the information about traffic and transportation in the context of Pune city. So thought of putting together few sites that I feel could be useful for interested people:

This site http://driving-india.blogspot.com/ has been created with the purpose of providing driver education and training rather than criticism.

mujhe lagta hai signal todne waloka gadi ke numbar plate ke saath photo nilakker paper me chaapna chahiye aur unpe karvahi karni chahiye . nahi to puna ko delhi hone me wakt nahi lagega (blue line bus). eeske liye sab logo ne aage ana chahiye . khas kerke youngsters ne.unke pass to mobile-camera hota hi hai. photo nikalke sakal ko bhej de. fir sakal use publish karke police karvahi honi chahiye.uske bina ye thick nahi hoga. mere saamne kitne log signal todte hai. mere husband unpe jorse chillte hai par unhe to jaise jannat jane ki jaldi hoti hai .agar accident ho gaya aiseme to kutta nahi ayega uthane ke liye .aur nahi kisine aise logo ki madad karni chahiye jo janbujhkar signal todte hai . vo to khud bhi marenge aur kasoor na ho use bhi marvayenge.

Movie Review: Chhota Bheem and The Throne of Bali

Set in the beautiful islands of Bali, this movie is meant to entertain the kids. But unfortunately adults may not find it that interesting.  As usual, when Bheem along with his gang and King of Dholakpur reaches Bali, they find that Bali is in danger. Apparently, Bali's Queen is King of Dholakpur's sister and were invited for crowning ceremony of the prince Arjun. Upon arrival, Bheem and the team found that everything is devastated in Bali and there's no trace of Royal family including Arjun. After much of a search, Bheem finds the Rajguru (Royal Priest) who had helped the prince escape the wrath of the invader - Rangda.  The story line is pretty much predictable and there are no surprises till the end. Bheem needs to be the ONLY savior and it turns out to be that way. (This actually is a problem for children mentality, but I'll save the thoughts for some other time.) Overall animation is similar to the serial and there didn't seem to be any attempt...

A Game of Monopoly

A week back, on last children's day, Mrunmay got a fantastic gift - Game of Monopoly aka Business (व्यापार).  Mrunmay got introduced to this game through our family friend around 3-4 weeks back and in the first instance itself he fell in love with this game. He didn't want to stop that game but had to due to other plans. But since then it was a constant thing on his mind. So Meghana and I decided to gift him on the children's day and spent entire evening playing the same game.  And that point onward, on every opportunity Mrunmay is trying everything to play this game. Given today was Saturday, and off for me, I offered him an afternoon entirely for Monopoly and he graciously accepted ;) In last 3-4 games, Mrunmay learnt quickly how he can earn more by quickly building houses and hotels. So now his all energies are constantly focused on creating assets. Usually, Meghana and I have hit with bad luck and have ended up in spending more time in "Chance", ...

Wayanad - Entering The Land Of God's Own Country

Wythiri resorts at Waynad have been elluding us for quite some. We didn't get the booking during our last trip. We had tried to get it a while back with a condition that we'd go to Kerala only if we get Wythiri resort. It looks like we need to wait a little more. Not deterred by this bad luck, Meghana had found a very good resort -  banasura island retreat . The pictures were so beautiful that we weighed it more against the other resort - upavan resort . Photo Credit: iExperience.in The water till the horizon with green islands in between were calling us and we got ready to reach Wayanad on our third day of the trip.  And our fellow driver did it again... Once again he got onto a wrong road costing us good 30 odd KM. This was the tipping point. Meghana called up the tour operator and literally blasted them.
